First up, wayf (we are your friends) is an inclusive digital design studio empowering the next generation of creatives across Naarm.

wayf is a special partnership for Inaam as they were the first partner to believe in Inaam's vision ๐Ÿ”ฎ for the future of impact.

Founded by one of Melbourne's leading diverse creative professionals wayf is using its creative voice to shape the future of diverse, inclusive and representative media, a voice of young people, for young people, by young people. You can check out their amazing work here ๐ŸŒ

Our next partner is revolutionising what happens to our unwearable clothing after us. After is hot off the heels of the Blackbird Giants Program! ๐Ÿ–ค

As an Inaam Impact Loop Partner, After symbolises the scale of impact social enterprises and young people can make on our society.

They are a platform connecting consumers with textile recyclers to ethically dispose of unwearable clothing and stop them from hitting our landfills. After empowers Australian customers and businesses to ethically dispose of their textiles and create a circular economy.

It's time to join the After party! You're invited!

This week's de-jargonising ๐Ÿ“ฒ

Did you notice 2 strange letters on the last stock market chart you were trying to make sense of? Did you see these letters and go huh? - We did too. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

P/E - pronounced literally - PE (yes, like physical ed in school ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ) represents the Price to Earnings ratio of a company.

Simply put, this is the current price of one share in a company divided by that company's Earnings Per Share or EPS (ooo double whammy this week! ๐Ÿค“).

EPS means the net profit (profit after tax) of a company divided by the total number of shares outstanding.

So what the PE tells us is how much $ we pay for every dollar of earnings that the company generates. This is best explained by way of an example ๐ŸŽ.

Its 2030 Inaam is listed on the ASX with ticker INM. Our share price is $10, and our EPS is $5 this makes our PE i.e ($10/$5) = $2, this means shareholders and investors pay $2 for every $1 INM earns.

Now logically speaking, why would you pay $2 for something that is worth $1?

Well, you wouldn't ๐Ÿ‘€.

This is exactly what a PE helps us understand, the higher a PE the more expensive a share in a particular company.

The next important question to ponder, based on your assessment, is whether it is worth paying a premium for that company's shares? (is it worth it?๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ)

Here's our next stock pick ๐Ÿ’ก

The world's most valuable company certainly sounds like one that should be in your portfolio, right?

Well, how does a company as big as Apple, a company which has a $2.9 trillion (that's trillion with a big fat T) market cap ๐Ÿงข make a positive impact on the planet?

Turns out, that over the last 5 years Apple ๐ŸŽ has returned a whopping 433.7% to investors, whilst making a significantly disproportionate impact towards environmental sustainability.

From their 100% renewable energy powered spaceship campus in Cupertino to the their global operations, Apple has set the bar for what it means to be a sustainable brand.

Apple generated $365 billion in revenue during 2021 which has translated in many unique ways to making a positive impact on the planet.

Here are some key highlights ๐Ÿ“ฒ
๐ŸŒ 100% renewable energy for all Apple facilities
๐ŸŒ Carbon neutral for corporate operations since 2020
๐ŸŒ 99% recycled tungsten in iPhone 12 (~39% of sales in 2021)
๐ŸŒ 100+ suppliers committed to 100% renewable electricity
๐ŸŒ $200m invested in natural climate solutions

The company that makes some of the world's most popular gadgets and software which started with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak's vision has transformed into a formidable force for good and it giving us a chance at a better future!

Did you know that Apple is worth more than the GDP of 186 countries?

It may have taken them 46 years to get there, but that doesn't mean we can't!

A huge congratulations ๐ŸŽ‰ to Tim Cook as one of the US's most diverse CEOs and being a part of the LGBTQIA+ ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ community for showing us how its done! โœŠ
