get started
get ready to invest with inaam.
Five steps, done in the app in five to ten minutes. Here is what to have beside you first, when a deposit shows in your balance, and how a withdrawal works.
Sign-up is completed in the inaam app. There is no web sign-up.

before you start
five steps, then you are in.
Have these ready and sign-up is one sitting.
1set aside five to ten minutes
That is how long sign-up takes when everything is beside you. It is done in the app, in one sitting.
2download the app
Your account is opened in the app, on iPhone or Android. There is no web sign-up.
3have your documents ready
Your identity is checked before you can invest, as it is with any Australian fund. Have these beside you:
- your passport
- a utility bill
- a credit or debit card
- your bank account details
4build and confirm your portfolio
Rank the five impact themes by what matters most to you. The app shows you the portfolio that makes, and you confirm it.
5choose how much, and how often
The minimum to invest in the fund is $100, as a lump sum or monthly. Confirm it, and that is the last step.
and you are done.
Your account is open and your first investment is on its way into the fund. The next section says when you will see it in your balance.

the app
what you will see in the app.

These screens are illustrations of the app. The figures in them are examples, not the fund’s results and not a forecast.
deposits
when your money shows in your account.
A deposit does not appear the moment you make it. This is the time to allow.
Deposits arrive all through the day, from everyone investing that day. Before any of them can show as units in your account, the money has to be gathered and moved into the fund, units have to be allocated to each person, and the trades have to be placed.
Your money is invested the whole time. The figures sit one business day behind the market because that is how long it takes to count a day properly.
fund timings
the fund’s timings, from the closing bell to your account.
| what happens | |
|---|---|
| day one | The markets trade. The fund’s holdings sit on exchanges in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and China. They close at different times, so a day’s trading is not finished everywhere until overnight our time. |
| next business day, about 4:30pm AEST | The fund’s broker sends the administrator one complete file for that day: every trade, every holding, every dollar of cash. |
| the next two hours | The administrator, NAV Fund Services, prices every holding, converts the overseas ones into Australian dollars and works out what a unit is worth. |
| 6:30pm to 7pm AEST | The day is reported. That record is what every other number about the fund is built on. |
| straight after 7pm | Your inaam account updates from that report. So Monday’s trading shows on Tuesday evening. |
- Weekends and public holidays move the queue along. Friday’s trading shows on Monday evening, and a public holiday pushes each day one further.
- An application received before 2.00pm AEST is processed at that day’s unit price. That is in section 2 of the PDS.
- These are the times agreed with the fund’s administrator, not guarantees. A late file or a market holiday can move them.
withdrawals
how a withdrawal works, and how long it takes.
Four steps. It usually takes 2 to 5 business days from a completed form to money in your bank account.
1ask for it
Email support@inaam.me and say how much you want to withdraw, or that you want all of it.
2send the redemption form
Fill in the one-page form, sign it and send it back. Download the redemption form.
3expect a call
NAV Fund Services, the fund’s administrator, may call you to confirm the bank details on your form before any money is sent.
4the money arrives
Usually 2 to 5 business days after your completed form is in. We are working on bringing that down.
You can ask to withdraw on any business day. A request received before 2.00pm AEST is processed at that day’s unit price.
There is no withdrawal fee. A buy-sell spread of 0.1% applies when you leave the fund, and it stays in the fund to cover transaction costs. A withdrawal is taken equally across the classes you hold.
The responsible entity can delay withdrawals if the fund becomes illiquid, or if paying one would disadvantage other investors. Sections 2.8 and 2.9 of the PDS set this out.
before you start.
can I sign up on the website?
No. Your account is opened in the inaam app, on iOS and Android. This page is the list of what to have ready before you open it.
what does it cost?
The subscription is $10 a month, $120 a year. That is separate from the money you invest, and the minimum to invest in the fund is $100. The fee calculator sets out every cost.
can an SMSF or a family trust invest?
Yes, they are welcome to apply. Download the application form.
what if a figure in my account looks wrong?
Email support@inaam.me and we will check it against the administrator’s record.
is the fund right for money I may need in a hurry?
The fund’s target market determination says who it has been designed for. It is not designed for anyone who needs access to their capital at short notice.
the only asterisk* of investing with inaam is a better planet.
The fund lives in the app. Download it, read it over a coffee, customise your themes.
General information only. Consider the PDS and TMD before investing.
